Technology’s Role in Uniform Rental Programs

technology's role in uniform rental programs

For 95 years, we have made continuous improvements to our uniform laundry services in order to provide customers with class-act uniform rental programs. To surpass the needs and expectations of our customers, we've invested in technology to improve our operations, reduce our environmental impact, and most importantly, to make uniform management simpler with increased accuracy.

We Put the TECH in Textile Rental Programs

With WW Uniform Services, we have a no-garments-missing guarantee. With our state-of-the-art Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips in all of our uniform garments, our system is able to monitor items as they are scanned into our facility, throughout the cleaning and repair process, and that all garments that come in together, are bundled to go back out together. This uniform garment technology ensures accurate and complete uniform deliveries every time, at no extra cost.

Tired of Employees Complaints about Missing Uniform Garments?

You're not alone! This is one of the top complaints that all businesses have about their current uniform provider. Well, if it's not WW Uniform Service, anyway! The additional investment in our RFID Smart Garment System has allowed us to better service our customers ensuring that what we pick up and wash gets returned to your employee.

Technology Drives Efficient Laundry Processes

Since we're able to verify what garments come into our facility, we can ensure they're all sorted by similar uniform garment type, type of soil, or possible contaminants and that similar items are washed together. Much like doing your own laundry, darks should be washed together and not mixed with whites. We take that a few steps further, but you get the picture.

The details for each wash load are noted in our system ensuring the proper detergents and wash formulas are used. We follow certain protocols and handling procedures for the different uniform garments. So medical and healthcare lab coats are never washed with auto technician work shirts.

Instant Verification In Our Laundry Plant = Accurate Invoicing for Customers

Customers are able to access and manage their uniform program online. Within 24 hours of pick up, you'll be able to see what was confirmed in our facility and what will be returned. You can also view invoice information, request repairs for an employee, size changes, or even just connect with your WW Uniform Service Customer Service Rep.

If you're tired of missing garments and lack of communication from our current uniform provider, then reach out to us. Let our technology play its role in creating a uniform program that's easy for you to manage. Contact us today to get started.
